Next, we journey to Alte, one of the most typical and unspoiled villages in the region.
- Step back in time amidst whitewashed houses with distinctive chimneys and cobblestone streets.
- Alte is renowned for its natural springs, where you can even enjoy a refreshing swim in the stone clad pools
- Visit the nearby Queda do Vigário waterfall ,a 24m drop over the cliffs into a deep pool shaded by fig trees.

- Full day tour duration 6/7 hrs, Saturdays only.
- 75 Euros per person
- Pick up by pre arrangement in Carvoeiro & Lagoa area (Please contact us if you require a different pick up place)
- Your friendly guide will speak English & Portuguese
- Tour is in a comfy air-conditioned van with snacks and soft drinks provided
- Entrance to Loule castle is included
- Lunch/meals not included
- If you wish to swim please bring your swimsuit and towel
- We will provide cool boxes for (small) food purchases at Loule market
